Crassula capitella ‘Red Pagoda’, sometimes also known by the horticultural name associated with Crassula corymbulosa, is a very decorative succulent, appreciated for its geometric appearance and spectacular coloring in shades of green, red, burgundy, and sometimes brownish-red tones. Its triangular leaves, tightly arranged on the stem, create an architectural effect similar to a small pagoda, giving it an exotic and very recognizable look. It is an excellent choice for succulent collections, decorative pots, sunny planters, or modern xerophytic plant arrangements.

🌱 Botanical characteristics:

  • Family: Crassulaceae
  • Plant type: decorative succulent by leaves
  • Common name: Red Pagoda
  • Habit: compact to slightly vertical, with stems densely covered by overlapping leaves
  • Leaves: small, triangular, fleshy, arranged in tiers and very orderly
  • Color: green with red, burgundy, or purple shades, more intense in good light and drier conditions
  • General appearance: geometric, compact, and very decorative, ideal for succulent collections and modern decor

💧 Growing and care conditions:

  • Light: prefers very bright light, including a few hours of gentle direct sun; color becomes more intense in good light
  • Watering: reduced; water only after the substrate is almost completely dry
  • Substrate: very well-drained, airy, mineral, suitable for cacti and succulents
  • Humidity: prefers dry air or moderate humidity, without excess water at the roots
  • Temperature: optimal growth range: approximately 18-28°C
  • Maintenance: requires avoiding excess water, especially in the cold season, and placement in a very bright spot to maintain compact shape and beautiful color

🌱 Secret Garden recommendation:

For healthy growth and reduced risk of rot, use the Secret Garden substrate for Cacti, Succulents & Adenium, a well-drained, airy mix suitable for plants sensitive to excess water.

What makes it special:

  • stands out with its geometric shape, resembling a small pagoda
  • the red-burgundy coloring becomes very decorative in good light
  • ideal for succulent collectors and minimalist decor
  • takes up little space but has a strong visual impact
  • remains attractive all year round, even without flowering

📌 Note: The leaves of Crassula capitella ‘Red Pagoda’ may show small natural imperfections, slight marks, slightly dehydrated basal leaves, or minor defects caused by handling, transport, or adaptation to the new environment. The intensity of the color may vary depending on light, season, and individual plant. These aspects are normal and do not affect the plant’s viability.

Decorative pot is not included in the price.

Height with pot included approx. 15 cm

Better way to open a can
Color: Blue
I may not have arthritis, but it saves time and energy. I will be buying another one for the band concession stand. It beats using an original can opener.

not better than manual……!!!!!
Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.
