Crassula lanuginosa var. pachystemon 'David' is a striking and hardy succulent that slowly forms a dense carpet. This small compact plant has reddish branches and dark green leaves with fine white hairs along the margins and more or less on the lower surface. The branches are fleshy, prostrate to decumbent, and up to 10 cm long. The leaves are thick, fleshy, and disk-shaped, and they tend to turn red as the weather gets cooler, but can range in colour from bright green, to yellow and orange, bright red, and also dark red, often with mixed shades of colour on the same plant. In winter and early summer, it produces clusters of white flowers on short stems.

This succulent prefers full sun to partial shade, but intense afternoon sun in the hottest period of summer can burn the leaves of the plant. Therefore, a place with morning sun and afternoon shade would be perfect. It requires very porous soil with excellent drainage, and watering should be done using the "soak and dry" method to avoid overwatering. It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C and is suitable for Australia's climate.

Propagation can be done by leaves or stem cuttings, and it can also be grown from seeds and offsets. C. lanuginosa var. pachystemon 'David' does not need much feeding but will benefit from a small amount of organic fertilizer in mid-spring when it starts actively growing. Repotting is needed as the plant grows, preferably in spring, and the soil should be dry before repotting.

Overall, this low-growing succulent's range of colors, hardiness, and ease of care make it an excellent addition to any garden or indoor collection.

Crassula lanuginosa var. pachystemon 'David' plants for sale shown in 70mm pot. You will receive same or similar plants as those shown in images. Colours will vary depending on time of year and growing conditions. Most recent plants shown first.

Plastic stuffing in it
Color: blue
I was concerned when I started finding little pieces of plastic wrap around my house. Where did it come from, I wondered? When my puppy is shark “no stuffing” toy to me, I found the source! The fin he ripped off that crinkled was full of little plastic pieces of plastic wrap. And it was all over the houses.
