European Ginger For Sale

European Ginger is a shade groundcover most often grown as a specimen perennial plant. This is credited to the plant’s awe-inspiring heart-shaped leaves, which shine, even in the shade, due to their glossy texture. It spreads slowly and methodically at a natural pace.

Its root system is rhizomatic, meaning it grows horizontally underneath the soil. It is facilitated by forming small shoots that provide nutrients to a larger storage structure. This slow-growing nature makes the plant highly easy to care for and self-sufficient.

Plant Details - European Ginger - Asarum Europaeum

Family: Aristolochiaceae

Light Requirement: Partial Shade - Full Shade

Water Needs: Moderate - Moist

Height: 4-6 in.

Spread: 12-18 in.

Growth Rate: Slow - Moderate

Flower Color: Purple, Brown, Burgundy, Maroon

Wildlife Value: Shelter for small creatures, and it deters unwanted pests

This plant is an excellent addition to any shade garden. It grows best in well-drained soil with a constant moisture source, preferring loamy or sandy soils. Direct sun can harm the leaves, so plant this with plenty of reliable cover overhead.

Its shade preference makes it perfect for growing under trees, adding interest in an otherwise difficult spot. This plant prefers slightly acidic soil. Under proper conditions, it will produce hidden, deeply colored flowers under its leaves, providing a sense of magic.

Landscape Uses and Maintenance - European Ginger (Asarum Europaeum)

European Ginger is so unique and lovely that it is chosen as a groundcover to add interest. Its glossy leaves attract the eyes of anyone who wanders through the garden. The foliage wound tightly to the ground provides a safe structure for some critters, such as amphibians or small mammals, and provides a habitat for fragile creatures that can be difficult to come by in most landscapes.

This groundcover is also known for being deer and rabbit-resistant and for dissuading pests entirely due to a subtle scent detected by the animals. It is low maintenance, only needing to be checked once a week to ensure proper soil moisture.

Noteworthy Characteristics of European Ginger

European Ginger’s heart-shaped leaves are iconic for good reason. The neat mound this plant forms is easy on the eyes and delightful to find in any shade garden. When grown around trees or other large shade-giving structures, the shape of the leaves is reminiscent of lily pads in a pond. The veins of the foliage are bright and an additional burst of life.

Bosch is a good product in any form
I had used these plugs before in my 03 Honda Element and they performed well for 5 years or more so I considered these for use in my now 07 Honda CRV.

Bosch spark plug are okay... for now.
I'm ususally a Denso Iridium Long-Life or NGK Laser Iridium kind of guy for my Acura or Honda spark plugs. I purchased these on short noticed when I got hit with CEL, grabbed my OBD2 scanner read misfire in all 6 cylinder in my J35a8 (Acura TL Type-S) when I arrived home late that night; I know right, of all places thank goodness. Anyways, I further started to diagnose the car from the least expense before assume the most expensive parts; the spark plugs upon inspection showed they reach it service life. Grabbed my phone in hopes for an overnight prime shipping and encounter these Bosch spark plugs. I installed them the next morning before going to work and all 6 cylinders misfire went away. Sidebar spark plug gap were within factory spec and are somewhat similar to OE. Its been a few week so far still good 👍. For the price it wasn't expensive but I had to order two 4 pack cause the individual spark plug took a few days extra to ship. Gas mileage slightly improve not by a lot, but I'll take it since gas price have gone up. Make sure to properly torque it with either 1/4 or 3/8 torque wrench when I last check they slightly backed out. Since I torque it down to factory recommendation it has stay put since. Will update again in the near future...

Reliable oil for BMW owners
I drive a BMW, and this is the oil I always keep with me in the car. I even have a special holder made for this exact bottle, because it fits perfectly and I trust it that much. The oil quality is excellent, and since it’s fully synthetic, it performs well even during long drives and temperature changes. In terms of functionality, the engine runs smoothly and quietly after each change. Longevity is also great. I notice that the oil keeps its properties for the full interval, so I don’t have to top it up too often. There’s also no oil leakage from the bottle, which is important when you store it in the trunk. For a branded BMW product, I think the value for money is good, especially if you service your car yourself or like to have backup oil on hand. Overall, a dependable synthetic oil for anyone who wants to use what the car was designed for.
