  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the delicate foliage. East or north-facing windows are ideal, or filtered light through sheer curtains.
  • Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-26°C (65-80°F). Consistent warmth promotes optimal growth and the development of the characteristic long leaves. Protect from cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60-80%. The pendulous nature of mature leaves benefits from consistent moisture in the air. Use a humidifier or group with other tropical plants.
  • Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture without waterlogging. Well-draining soil is essential for healthy root development.
