It responds well to pruning, and can be maintained as a more mat-like succulent should you prefer a more compact look – when left to its own devices, it will grow about 3 inches tall, with draping stems up to 12 inches long.

'Calico Kitten' needs at least filtered sunlight, though brighter light will deepen the pink coloration of its leaves. Thoroughly water this plant only when the soil is completely dry, and pot in porous soil with adequate drainage.
