Description

Canary Island Date Palm Tree Seeds (Phoenix canariensis) – Also Known as Pineapple Palm, 15+ Non-GMO & Heirloom Seeds by Isla’s Garden Seeds, Exotic Tropical Landscape Tree

Phoenix canariensis – Canary Island Date Palm

A majestic palm known for its tall, stately trunk and large, feathery fronds. Often called the “Pineapple Palm,” it can reach 40–60 feet when mature, making it a striking focal point for landscapes. Grown primarily for ornamental beauty rather than edible fruit, this long-lived palm thrives in warm climates and adds a tropical elegance to gardens, streets, and courtyards.

Type: Perennial/Tree
Sun: Full Sun
Planting Depth: ½–1”
Spacing: 12–20’
Water: Moderate (drought-tolerant once established)
Days to Maturity/Bloom: 4–6 years to maturity; can take longer to develop full crown
Height: 40–60’ (sometimes taller in ideal conditions)
Zones: 9–11

Planting Instructions

Approx seeds per order: 15+

Soak seeds in warm water for 24–48 hours to soften the seed coat. Plant in pots or seed trays filled with a well-draining mix of sand and compost, about ½–1 inch deep. Maintain consistent warmth (75–85°F) and moisture—germination may take several weeks to months, as palms are slow to sprout.

Keep seedlings in a sunny, warm environment and repot as needed. Canary Island Date Palms grow slowly and should remain in containers for at least a year before outdoor transplanting. Select a permanent site with full sun and room to grow, as these palms develop large canopies and massive trunks.

Unlike fruiting apricots, Canary Island Date Palms are cultivated for their ornamental presence and will not provide edible dates, but they deliver unmatched tropical grandeur in any landscape.

One TOUGH toy!
Size: Large (5" x 3.25" x 9")
The first of these toys survived 2 Huskies, an Aussie, 2 GSDs and our Pitmix, I only got a new one because first one is soooo old! It is a favorite toy and there would be unhappiness if it were not available. This is one TOUGH toy, great bounce and spin, we love this toy.

I bought this toy may 2025 it is now January 2026 I am finally having to replace . I have a chessie , almost 2 yo he is not an insane chewer but he does make the fabric “ tuff toys” look like a joke . Those are gone in ten minutes . This one last and last and last . It’s a great buy. In process of ordering my third one decided to write a review. I never write reviews . Such a simple product but worth every penny . My dogs favorite toy . Will stay in the arsenal .

Not recommended at all for heavy chewers
Size: Large (5" x 3.25" x 9"), Size: Large (5" x 3.25" x 9")
They advertise this toy as a heavy chewer toy and it’s not. My big dog chewed through it in a couple days and that’s with me yelling at him to chew it gently. I like the toy and it’s great for smaller less advid chewers. I put kibble in the holes and watch my Shiba go to town throwing it around but my mixed lab/dane has a nub of rubber left. So maybe don’t advertise it as a heavy chewer toy. The rubber is way too soft for you to be suggesting that. It did come with a strong chemical smell that my dogs didn’t like and I had to wash it 3x before they’d touch it.
