  • The Farfugium Firefly, also commonly known as the Leopard Plant, is a visual masterpiece for plant collectors. It is celebrated for its dramatic, thick, glossy foliage that looks as though it has been playfully splattered with golden-yellow paint, mimicking the glow of fireflies against a deep green forest floor.

Native to the rocky coastal cliffs and streamsides of Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

In autumn or early winter, it surprises growers with daisy-like yellow flowers on long, branched stalks. These bright blooms sit high above the foliage, adding a splash of cheer when many other plants are going dormant.

  • Prefers bright, indirect light to partial shade. While it can tolerate lower light, its signature yellow "firefly" spots are most vibrant with sufficient indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can wilt or scorch the leaves.

Keep the soil consistently moist. Unlike succulents, Farfugium does not like to dry out and will "faint" or wilt dramatically if it gets too thirsty (though it usually bounces back quickly once watered).

Thrives in rich, organic, moisture-retentive soil. A high-quality potting mix amended with compost or peat moss is ideal.
  • 7–10 (Excellent for shaded gardens in temperate zones or as a year-round indoor plant).

Not using these syrups in coffee or drinks, just on muffins, breadsticks and ice cream. Here are the individual reviews from best to worst: -Caramel: almost perfect creamy pure caramel taste. Only flaw is I wish it were thicker. 9/10. -Dark Chocolate: has that classic slightly bittersweet dark countenance. You can almost taste a pleasant burnt cocoa bean flavor. Only flaw is that it is a bit too thick. 8/10. -Chocolate Caramel: not a perfect 50/50 blend, tastes more like a 70/30 blend in favor of caramel. Consistency is perfect, just the right thickness. 7/10. -White Chocolate: doesn't taste like WC whatsoever. It tastes like sickly sweet birthday cake icing in liquid form. Worst of all it is runny with no thcikness. 4/10.

Yummy
Flavor Name: Butterscotch
I'm very picky about taste, especially the coffee syrup. I have tried several and most do not even taste like the "name" on the bottle. I decided to try this one and it is so good, it tastes like butterscotch. Mmmmm The pump works fine and 2 squirts is perfect.

Tastes good
Flavor Name: Butterscotch
I like the butterscotch taste. It’s really good with caramel coffee. The pump isn’t exactly smooth so it splashes a bit. When you first insert the pump into the bottle, be sure the pump is twisted into the open position.
