Placering: Trives bedst i lyst, indirekte lys, men kan også tåle let skygge. Undgå direkte sollys i længere tid, da det kan svidde bladene.

Vanding: Vand moderat og lad det øverste lag jord tørre ud mellem vandinger. Sørg for veldrænet jord og undgå overvanding, da rødderne er følsomme over for stående vand.
