Some of the new safety features of the UPPAbaby Mesa Max infant car seat include a load leg, an anti-rebound panel, and a redesigned headrest for better impact protection. The carry handle can even be used for extra anti-rebound! Keeping your little one safe is UPPAbaby’s top priority, and this car seat will protect your little one in a worst-case scenario.
UPPAbaby kept the parents in mind with this design, too. Installation has never been easier. With the SmartSecure® System for use with LATCH connectors and a bubble level on the base, you’ll always know when the seat is properly installed. If you aren’t using LATCH connectors, the seat can still be installed without the base by using its European routing system. The Mesa Max is also compatible with many UPPAbaby strollers.
This car seat is available in five colors and two fabric types. Both options are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and free of chemicals. The Merino wool option offers additional plusses, being hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, and moisture wicking.
Features of the Mesa Max Infant Carrier:
- Infinite adjustable headrest: Reinforced with EPP foam, this headrest absorbs energy and protects your baby’s head during a collision with the Side Impact Protection design. This headrest is larger than in previous models and more adjustable to provide a safer, more custom fit.
- Infant insert: The UPPAbaby Mesa Max comes with an infant inlay to make the seat suitable for infants between 4-11 lbs. It can be used longer than the previous models, which were only suitable for up to 8 lbs. This insert is made with a contoured design to fit newborns for better airway management and body positioning.
- European routing system: With the European routing system, you can use this car seat without the base! For those times when it’s more convenient to travel without the base, like in a cab, rental car, or airplane, your Mesa Max can still be installed securely and safely. The belt path on this model is bigger than before and secures the seat with three points of contact.
- 4th handle position for anti-rebound: For additional safety against rear-impact collisions or when installed without the base, the handle can act as an anti-rebound bar.
- No-rethread, adjustable harness: Adjusting your baby’s harness is super easy with the no-rethread design. This harness also adjusts with the headrest.
- UPF 25+ hideaway canopy: The canopy has been redesigned to be 43% larger, providing additional sun protection and privacy. Extending and contracting the canopy is also quieter than before for your baby’s comfort.
- Side ventilation: This car seat had additional airflow and ventilation, perfect for keeping your baby comfortable on hot days.
- Belt path to hold harness straps: When placing your infant in the seat, use the belt paths to hold the harness out of the way! You won’t have to struggle with holding the harness while trying to get your baby comfortable.
- Compatible with UPPAbaby strollers: The UPPAbaby Mesa Max is compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista and Cruz strollers. With the purchase of additional adapters, it is also compatible with the UPPAbaby Minu and Ridge strollers. The seat has a stroller release button on the handle.
- One-crotch buckle position: To reduce guesswork and adjustment hassle, the crotch buckle on this car seat doesn’t need to be repositioned.
- Dual Knit and Merino wool: Both fabric options for the stroller are naturally fire retardant. The fabrics and foams contain no fire retardant chemicals and are GREENGUARD Gold Certified to support healthier air quality and lower chemical emissions. Comfortable chair that works great for long hours

Very Comfortable Ergonomic Chair - Great for Long Work Days!

I’ve been using this ergonomic office chair for a couple of weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. For the price, it offers excellent comfort and support.
What I like:
• Very comfortable padded seat and backrest — I can sit for 8+ hours without back pain.
• Good lumbar support and adjustable height/armrests.
• Holds up to 330 lbs easily (I’m 240 lbs and it feels very stable).
• Smooth rolling wheels and sturdy base.
• Easy to assemble (took about 20 minutes).
The mesh back breathes well and doesn’t get hot. It looks professional in my home office too.
Overall, this is a solid ergonomic chair. If you spend a lot of time at a desk, I highly recommend it.
Would I buy it again? Yes, definitely.

Great if you're average height.

Comfortable for the price. The seat could be a bit better, but for a budget friendly ergonomic chair, it's well made and has helped a lot with my back pain caused by my previous desk chair.
Assembly wasn't terribly difficult, though I did have one screw with damaged threads. Luckily they ship spare screws in the kit, so that was a non-issue.
Rollers work great on my small rug and hard flooring and don't tend to tangle cords or cables too much.
Size wise, works great for my frame (5 ft 6 in) but for someone more than a few inches taller than myself, you should probably look at another chair.

I am very happy with my purchase. Easy to assemble but be aware your drill bits included with your set won't fit their screws. However, you can get a fair bit done with the drill and then use tool included to adjust. Super comfortable and exactly the right height for my desk. Highly recommend for quality exceeding price point.

Review from an "actual" tall person who doesn't weigh 400 pounds.

I recommend this chair.
Firstly, I looked at least dozens of chairs and nearly every review in trying to select a chair. I didn't want to spend $200.
It's confusing because everyone's idea of perfect is of course subjective. One thing, What is tall? I'm 6'6" I think that's pretty tall. Others feel that 6'0" is tall. LOL In the listing, it shows this chair is good for a 6'5" person which I think is pretty accurate. I weigh about 210 pounds and the padding is just fine. One thing I would push manufacturers to do would be to give accurate measurements. Seat height low and high. Back support height. Head rest added to back height etc.! Maybe actual human measurements that the chair is geared toward. Nice to know that 400 lbs is cool but that doesn't tell me much.
My primary goal was to find a chair I could sleep in because I recently had a
back injury and sleeping on my bed, while fine, resulted in intense pain trying
to get up in the morning. We'll see what happens but the headrest reaches my head
which was goal one.
The lumbar fits so I don't need to use cushions and pads etc. I found the upper
position of the support to be right for me and it's super comfortable. Plus number
two.
The raised height of the chair fits my long legs (inseam 36") Plus three.
I wanted adjustable arm rests but this one doesn't have that. No biggie, for me the height of the arm rests is pretty much just right. It might be a little high for some.
The back leaning adjustment doesn't lock except for upright. Locking upright is good, and leaning back - for me - doesn't really need to lock.
Being an actual tall person made me really skeptical. I'm relieved that I won't have to take it apart to return it. The assembly was straight forward and pretty easy though I'd suggest not really tightening the arms snugly before getting the back squared away - the alignment is easier if you do that.
I got the chair for $109 with 21% off. It's slightly wobbly yet feels pretty well made. It rolls well enough.
I'm quite satisfied with the purchase and I'll come back if there are updates.
Edit one. I've had it a week now and found I couldn't sleep in it. I think it would be better if the back could recline separately from the seat. There might also be figuring out a way to support my legs due to the back and seat reclining together rather than separately. Two. I kind of wish more now that the arms were adjustable for height and tilt if that makes sense. I have a bar stool next to me on the right in front of my desk that is the right height to relax my right arm while reaching my mouse on the desk so that's my work around there. Three. The casters are kind of basic and don't roll as easily on the floor matt as my former second hand chair - they would probably be fine on a hard surface. I'll probably switch them out. Four: The lumbar support, while mostly in the right place is unpadded and creates kind of a hard spot there. I've re-introduced my lumbar support pillows for comfort there.
All in all, I'm still happy with the $100 purchase. In my experience, being pretty tall always comes with compromise and these notes are not deal breakers for me.
Yea, It can always be more perfect but unless you're in a showroom test driving and willing to spend $300? Right.
UPDATE: I'm really not satisfied with this chair and in fact, I wish I hadn't bought it. Firstly, the pneumatic post that the chair part connects with is wobbly depending on which way it is facing according to which way the legs are aligned. It's like a poor fit and I'm pretty mechanically inclined.
Second and also important. The lock to keep it upright and inclined only worked for a few weeks. For a while, you had to mess with it to engage the upright position. It no longer works.
Worse than that, the lumbar support pad disconnected with the chair and is now floating and after only a month or so, the remaining supports for the Lumbar rest have dug into the fabric on the back of the chair creating holes in the back's fabric. I've tried but there is no way to reconnect that bit without removing the back's fabric as far as I can see.
I'm taking this down to one star for sure. Poor design? Poor manufacturing? Yea. I wouldn't suggest this chair to anyone. If the company comes up with a solution, I'll continue my review.
As for now. Not a recommendation.
Update: Not impressed and kind of crappy. Mentioned is that the so called lumbar thingy disconnected and is unusable. I've got my own pad which seems to help. Also, it's wiggly where the chair connects to the base. Months later, I might toss it and go back to the chair I bought locally and second hand.
Don't buy this chair!
