- Native to Columbia, the pink princess philodendron is a tropical aroid in the Araceae family. Despite its high price tag, this colorful plant is actually pretty easy to care for. That being said there are a few key things to keep in mind to ensure that you are maximizing the variegation on the leaves. While the pink princess produces flowers, the spathes are insignificant compared to the foliage of the plant and it is rare for them to flower indoors.
- Providing your pink princess philodendron with enough light is the most important factor influencing the amount of variegation it will have. Choose a location that receives several hours of bright, indirect light. When grown indoors, the pink princess philodendron can also tolerate a couple hours of direct light, which may help to increase its variegation.
- As an aroid, the pink princess philodendron enjoys airy, well-draining soil that is high in organic matter. A mixture of one part standard potting soil, one part perlite, and one part orchid bark is ideal for the pink princess.
- Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings and then water well. Ensure that your pink princess is never sitting in waterlogged soil as they are susceptible to root rot.

Needs to outgas for a day or two and then its great.

Needs to outgas for a couple days, ideally outside on a clothes line. Having said that its the first pillow out of a half dozen Ive bought in the last 18 mos that I can sleep on. Sleeping much better and longer now. Latex foam is the only pillow for me. I swear I searched on here a year or so ago and could not find one.

Goldilocks pillow

I tried 5 different latex pillows, 2 from this brand. Most had to much loft and were too firm. This brand has one called extra soft that was comfortable but a little too soft. BUT, I could tell the latex was better so I tried this one. It strikes the perfect balance of support and is not too firm. Compared to all the other brands I would call this one soft/medium as all others "medium" were pretty firm.

I'm not sure I received the same pillow as advertised. The pillows I received are extremely firm. I would not classify it as medium. It was also not covered by a cotton case. it had a very sheer gauze like material covering the latex.

Super springy and comfy!

I’ve been looking for a pillow that offers support but is soft and cushy. I had never tried a latex pillow before, and I was skeptical because I heard it could be hard, but I decided to give it a try. I tried a memory foam and it was waaaaay too hard to be comfortable. This pillow retains its shape, is really soft and plushy, and works great for back or side sleeping. It had a slight smell (not unpleasant though) when we first unboxed it, but it was gone by day 2. The pillow also sprang up immediately on unwrapping it. After a few days it seemed a little bit bigger, but it didn’t really need any time to air out/fluff up, it was basically ready straight out of the box. I’m often picky about pillows because I get headaches from sleeping on my neck in the wrong way, but this one is great and I haven’t had a problem at all. My hubby likes it too :) it’s the favorite house pillow now.
