Triticum aestivum. A beardless spring wheat. The compact head is medium long, with a soft kernel. Highly adaptable, nutritious, delicious, and versatile in the kitchen. The soft kernels are easy to grind and better for using in pastry due to its low protein content. When milled, it produces a light, white flour with a slight sweet taste. For areas with mild winter climates, White Sonora is planted and sprouts in the fall, from approximately November to December and harvested in June before the onset of the summer rains. Plant in the spring in other areas. The hulls are easy to remove without specialized equipment, making it a good option for small garden operations.

Originally brought into the U.S. from Magdelena Mission in northern Sonora, where it has been grown since around 1670. Common among the Pima and Yuma after 1820 who became large-scale wheat exporters. Piman growth of White Sonora is credited with the prevention of starvation among both the Union and Confederate soldiers during the Civil War when millions of pounds were produced and exported east.

The flour gave rise to the oversized tortillas used for burritos and burros common in Borderlands cuisine. The wheat berries (the entire unprocessed wheat kernel) can be used in stews. The wheat berries are also used to make wheat beers.  Organically grown.  A single packet of wheat seeds will plant a 3 ft x 3 ft with a dense stand of wheat. An 8 oz bag of seed will be enough to cover a 35 ft x 35 ft (1225 sq ft) plot. Larger areas should use a seeding rate of 70-100 lbs per acre. From our Seed Bank Collection.

  • Approx. 28g/700 seeds per packet.
  • Approx. 2850 seeds per 4 oz.
  • Limit 3 packets.

Excellent garlic powder
Size: 3.9 ounce (Pack of 1)
Excellent garlic powder. Note that the holes for shaking it out are a bit large, so the garlic powder comes out quickly, so you have to be very careful when you shake or pour. The flavor is perfect. I am very pleased. I’d recommend and will buy again. God bless!

Good quality and flavorful
Size: 24 ounce (Pack of 1)
Very aromatic and flavorful. A great spice to buy in bulk since it's good in almost everything! The garlic is fresh and flows freely with no clumps. Good value for the size.

Delicious, nice quality, small ground granule style dried garlic. Excellent product and price.
Size: 24 ounce (Pack of 1)
I see a lot of discussion over this product. Many loving it and many saying it is not granulated, but in the powder form. It IS indeed labelled Garlic Powder, but this is actually the granulated type, just very small granules. This is important because I like the granulated; I find the true powder form to be hard to work with and not as good tasting. This Amazon Grocery Garlic Powder is excellent, very fine quality, dried garlic into tiny granules. I'm very happy with this product.

Reasonably priced garlic powder with no anti caking ingredients.
Size: 3.9 ounce (Pack of 1)
I like this garlic powder it is just like similar ones I purchased in the past. It has no additive so you get pure garlic powder there is no anti- caking agent. It is not like the store bought granulated garlic powder with anti-caking agents When you pour it out lightly tap it because it could come out fairly fast compared to the granulated garlic type. Whenever I get a chance I order a new one because this is flavorful. Just when I add it to Chicken fried I added on the top after cooking that and covering you don't want to burn it.
