In our family workshop in Poland, we make each piece the slow, careful way - just like great-grandma's stained glass traditions. Every piece of glass is hand-cut and wrapped in copper foil before being soldered together using the Tiffany technique. The sturdy oak base is sanded until it's silky to touch.
