Early Blooming Flowers Add Pops of Yellow Color to Signal the Start of Spring With Lynwood Gold Forsythia!

The Lynwood Gold Forsythia shrub is a beautiful addition to any landscape and has all 4 seasons appeal!

Beginning in early spring, this deciduous shrub will bloom absolutely stunning Forsythia yellow flowers that light up your garden with bright colors. The yellow forsythia flower buds are produced in clusters and are bell shaped. It has an exceptionally long bloom time.

Following the spring blooms is dark green leaves that remain on the plant until fall. As temperatures drop, the green foliage will turn to shades of red and purple to put on a show of fall colors before going dormant.

Graceful arching branches shoot up and lean over from the weight of the spring flowers and foliage to put on a dramatic display.

They are perfect planted in rows for privacy as a Lynwood Gold Forsythia hedge. Their larger mature heights and width, easy care, and thick branch structure make them a perfect privacy hedge plant.

Lynwood Gold Forsythia Care

This variety of Forsythia Lynwood grows well in USDA hardiness zones 4-8. They have great cold hardiness and when their flowers bloom it signals the start of spring.

With an upright growth habit and a mature size of 5-10 feet tall and wide, the Lynwood Gold Forsythia size makes it a good contender for mass plantings, shrub borders, or stand-alone plants.

Lynwood Gold Forsythia's growth rate is up to 2-4 feet per year making it a perfect fast growing shrub. To enhance the fast growth rate and bright yellow flower color, apply a slow release fertilizer in early spring.

How to Plant Lynwood Gold Forsythia Bushes

This flowering shrub prefers moist yet well draining soil to establish a strong root system. Choose a site with full sun to partial shade. The more sunlight the shrub gets the more flowers you will see. Space forsythia varieties at least 5 feet apart to allow room for growth.

Lynwood Gold Forsythia pruning should take place as soon as the flowering period is done. Flowers will bloom the next year on old wood so you want to allow the yellow shrub to continue growing the rest of spring, summer, and fall to accumulate the many branches so you have a bounty of flowers next spring.

It can be trained into Lynwood Gold Forsythia tree with proper pruning techniques if that is the desired look.

Shop Lynwood Gold Forsythia for sale today! It's such a wonderful and carefree shrub to add to your landscape. Being drought-tolerant, deer resistant, pest and disease resistant, and salt tolerant, you can plant it virtually anywhere!

Great idea poor construction
Color: Large size (7.9"), Color: Large size (7.9")
Great for a dog that likes tug and fetch but the seams are not strong so it ripped fast not from tug but my dogs teeth. I sewed it once since we loved playing with it but it didnt last. Other seams opened. The seams opened in the ball part not by the handles. Less seams and stronger ones would make it 5 star. Im trying a different brand.

Keeps her busy!
Color: Medium size (5.9")
Our Molly loves this. Only thing is that it is a little too big for our Maltipoo, but she still tries to keep up with it.
