- Germination: 14-48 days
- For best germination, cold‑stratify seeds for 4 weeks. Place seeds on a damp paper towel, seal in a labeled plastic bag, and refrigerate. Keep the paper towel lightly moist but not wet. After stratification, sow as directed below.
- Start indoors 7-8 weeks prior to last frost. Plant 1/8" deep in seed starting mix. Seeds need light and moisture soil to germinate. Harden off before transplanting in full sun/partial shade. Feed with compost.
- Space 12” apart.
