The Ctenanthe burle-marxii 'Amagris' is a sophisticated and compact member of the Marantaceae family. Known for its striking geometric patterns and "active" foliage, this plant is a living piece of art that adds a calm, silvery aesthetic to any indoor jungle.
The parent species is native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil, where it grows under the dense canopy.
While it rarely blooms indoors, it can produce small, insignificant white or yellow flowers nestled among bracts. However, this plant is grown almost exclusively for its spectacular foliage.

Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sun will fade the delicate silvery patterns and burn the leaves. Low light may slow growth significantly.
Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Use filtered or distilled water if possible, as they are sensitive to fluoride in tap water.
Requires a well-draining, aerated potting mix. A blend of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark is ideal.
Thrives in warm environments between 18°C and 27°C. They dislike sudden temperature drops or cold drafts.

I should have read the label more carefully

This seems to be a quality product, and I was initially happy to see that this is a one capsule dose (the main reason I ordered this brand). I was also pleased that the capsule size is small, especially compared to most fish oil capsules. What I wasn’t so happy about is the fairly minimal amount of Omega-3’s in each capsule (thus the smaller size). My bad - I should have looked at the label more carefully before ordering. I guess a person could take 3 or 4 a day to up the dosage, but that wouldn’t seem to be very cost effective.
