If you have limited space, no garden at all or just prefer container gardening, this kit is made for you! Container gardening makes it easy to care for your plants. As long as you have space on your porch, deck, patio or balcony for a medium-sized container, you can garden. Our decorative rattan planter (sized 12 x 12 x 16") comes with a hard-shell, inner plastic growing pot, bag of medium, planting stock, gardening gloves and growing directions.

About this Variety

Nothing screams tropical in the summer garden than the magnificent Elephant Ear! These beloved, easy to grow tubers produce the most dramatic, exotic foliage summer to fall. There are two main types of Elephant Ears - Alocasia (upward pointing, glossy leaves) and Colocasia (tall stems with velvety leaves that hang similar to elephants's ears). Elephant Ears range in color, height, pattern and texture. Colocasia esculenta is grown in Hawaii for food and is commonly known as taro.

Daylily Stella D'Oro is a multiple AHS award winner and is perhaps the most popular daylily in cultivation worldwide. Its blooms are yellow, with deep throats and ruffled edges. Its foliage is linear and blade-like. Stella D'Oro's flower is classified as miniature and appreciated for its compact size, vigorous growth, profuse and extended blooming period. Very easy to grow and a garden staple. Plant en masse in broad sweeps for massive curb appeal. Will return for years to come.

Growing Instructions

First, decide where the planted will be located and if you want the pot needs drainage. Proper drainage is key if you are placing the planter outside. If placing outside, remove the drainage plug(s) from the bottom. Empty about 85% of the medium bag into the pot. Firm and smooth the planting medium. Next, place the plants onto the soil, center within the space, spread out roots then add remaining medium on top. Water well, saturating the soil deeply. Continue to saturate soil for first few days then water as need. Sit back and let mother nature do her thing!

Care Tip

Plants in containers are above soil level and exposed to the elements which make them more prone to freeze damage during the winter than plants planted in the garden. Take extra precautions and overwinter the planter in a protected area (shed or garage) during freezing temperatures (best to provide a winter environment that is one zone hardier than your area). To overwinter: Water plants thoroughly and move borderline-hardy plants into a protected area to increase chance of survival. Because the plant is dormant, light isn't required. Check every few weeks to ensure the planting medium isn't dry. Water sparingly. Overwatering can cause the plants to come out of dormancy. Place planter back outside to restart its cycle when spring and warmer temperatures return!

Awesome Book!!
Format: Kindle
I was a little skeptical about reading this book due to previous encounters with the Holy Spirit concerning Tim Ross. However, I believe GOD has given me clearance to read this book, and because of this book or shall I say the GOD given words in this book, Welcome to the Basement has been a comprised or a condensed yet straight to the point version of another book I was in the process of reading. It took the leg work out and made it into a simple and clear insight on how to practice the way of Jesus based on the life of Jesus and how to invite others to the table to eat with Jesus. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait to slowly start back getting down into the basement. Thank You GOD and thank you, Tim Ross, for this book. It was a goldmine!! Peace, love, blessings, Erika.

You go up by going down…Welcome To The Basement!
Format: Hardcover
Tim Ross has taken the concept of The Basement and splashed them in black and white on the pages of this book! WTTB is a not only a guide but quite literally a masterclass on how to love the way Jesus loves. As a follower of Jesus for some time, I am impressed by Tim’s fresh perspectives, vivid writing style and conversational approach to this work. Welcome To The Basement simply feels like Tim on an extended episode of The Basement podcast. This page-turner of a book is a must read for all people who want to experience a radical approach to doing ministry in a postmodern world among people who question the validity of scripture and the relevance of Jesus and His Church. Become a “Basement dweller”!

Press B!
Format: Hardcover
"Welcome to the Basement" by Tim Ross is an incredible guide to achieving true greatness through humility and service. Having known Ross as a great mentor to a dear friend, I was eager to dive into this book. The principles he share are both radical and deeply needed in our world today. This fully revised edition of his previous work, "Upset the World," is timely and relevant, addressing today's unique challenges. Ross's personal insights and practical guidance make this book a must-read for anyone looking to have a deeper connection to God. The audiobook, read by Ross himself, adds an extra layer of connection and authenticity.

Yes, you should read this book!
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
This book is a fantastic read. It's as if you're having a casual conversation with Tim Ross about faith and it goes by so quickly. This book is for you if you're struggling to understand to have a healthy relationship with God, found yourself in a rut of just doing religious practices, if you're struggling with fully submitting to God, or if you're unsure of if you're being impactful when you witness to others. I'd say you can even read this book as if it's a devotional because there are great reflection questions and notes at the end of each chapter. Slow down, really take in the words, pray, and reflect to get the most of out of this book!
