At 14.3 lbs with a folded size of 20.9 inches long by 17.3 inches wide by 9.2 inches tall, it meets IATA carry-on compliance requirements for most major airlines. The one-second one-hand fold drops the stroller into a self-standing compact package without requiring a bag or a wall, and the integrated shoulder strap makes carrying it through an airport or up subway stairs genuinely manageable with one hand free.
The seat supports children from 6 months through approximately 4 years up to 50 lbs as a standalone stroller. For newborns from birth, the Joolz Aer2 Cot accessory converts the frame into a bassinet-ready travel system, sold separately. The seat reclines for on-the-go naps and the adjustable leg rest supports ergonomic positioning at different stages. The fabrics across the entire Aer2 lineup are made from recycled PET bottles, reflecting Joolz's sustainability commitment that also includes planting one tree in one of their Birth Forests for every stroller sold. The frame is backed by a 10-year transferable warranty that passes to a new owner if the stroller is gifted or resold.
