Echeveria 'Hercules' is a stunning hybrid that is a must-have for any succulent enthusiast. It was created by Gert Ubink by crossing an Echeveria pulidonis cultivar with an Echeveria elegans cultivar in 2006 in Kudelstaart, Netherlands, resulting in a unique and attractive plant that has become popular among succulent collectors.

This small succulent plant forms rosettes of smooth, grey-green, densely packed leaves with pink to purple margins and tips. The leaves are fleshy, lance-shaped, and up to 2 cm long and 0.8 cm wide. The epicuticular wax coating on the leaves gives them a soft, pastel look. The leaf backside turns pinkish to purplish when exposed to drought or winter temperatures. In late spring and summer, the plant produces nodding bell-shaped yellow flowers on unbranched inflorescences that rise well above the rosettes.

Echeveria 'Hercules' is a relatively easy plant to care for and prefers well-draining soil and plenty of sunlight to thrive. It is often grown in containers or as part of a succulent garden and can be propagated by leaf or stem cuttings. This succulent plant is a great addition to any indoor or outdoor space, with its unique pink to purple leaf margins and its ability to form dense clumps.
