Each packet contains 30 seeds from one plumeria cultivar.

Plumeria seeds are unique in that they are not true to the mother plant. When you take a cutting from a plumeria, the cutting is genetically identical to the mother tree. However, with seeds, plumerias can be cross pollinated, manually pollinated, pollinated by nature, or they can be asexually pollinated. When pollen from one plumeria is used to pollinate another plumeria cultivar, you end up with cross-pollinated seed pods that will exhibit characteristics from both parent trees. Even when seed pods are formed asexually, the seeds do not grow 100% true to the mother plant. Essentially, you create a new cultivar of plumeria when you grow from seeds!

Why grow from seed?

1. To grow new, breath-taking cultivars

2. To grow rootstock for grafting

3. To see the unique, one-of-a-kind first bloom!

4. To best acclimate seedlings to your climate.

Seeds selected are from healthy mother-trees on our property which houses over 150 varieties of plumerias and 2 beehives. Some seeds are cross-pollinated manually, while most are pollinated naturally by insects and weather. Above, seeds can be selected for purchase based on the bloom color of the mother tree from which they were collected. Though the selection is based on color, the name of the mother tree will be labeled on the seed packet. If you are looking for a particular mother tree, please email us or put the name of the mother tree in the "special instructions" or "message" box when you place your order and we shall do our best to accommodate.

**amount of seeds per packet may vary but will be close to or just over 30 seeds/packet**

To grow from seed: Select container(s) with multiple drainage holes in the bottom. Wet your well-draining soil mix and allow excess moisture to drain. Lightly tamp down soil to form an even surface. Place seeds on the soil surface approximately 2-4cm apart. Add a fine layer of potting soil over-top the seeds as to cover them completely. Water once and allow the soil to settle, adding more soil if needed to ensure seeds are covered, and place in full sun. Keep soil somewhat moist for the first week, without allowing soil to completely dry out until growth is seen erupting from beneath the soil surface. Though it can take up to a month to see seedlings, most plumeria rubra seeds will germinate within 2-3 weeks. Try not to disturb seedlings. When seedlings reach a height of 4 inches, or have given 3+ "true leaves" (the initial pair of leaves are seed leaves which give the plant nutrients to form true leaves) you can transplant seedlings into individual containers.

Asurion worked as intended.
After three years, my monitor failed. Asurion paid to send it to a repair center. I didn't save the box the monitor came in, and paid $23 to have it packaged up. They kept me informed of the various steps, such as en route, arrived, testing, and repair started. They discovered it could not economically be repaired and refunded my purchase price. The entire process from me telling them it was broken until the refund took 5 days. I am well satisfied with the service.

BUYER BEWARE NOT A AUTHORIZED EPSON SELLER & YOU CANNOT REG THIS PRINTER
I purchased the Epson SureColor F170 from 6Ave through Amazon and discovered during setup that I could not register the printer with Epson. After contacting Epson customer support, I was informed that 6Ave is not an authorized Epson reseller for this product. That the serial number was invalid and likely from overseas. When I had been trying it I got "INVALID SERIAL NUMBER" and when I thought maybe the 0 was an O I got a message that it had already been registered. As a result, Epson would not allow me to register the printer, which raises concerns about warranty coverage and access to manufacturer support. Had this been disclosed before purchase, I would have purchased from an authorized dealer instead. Consumers should be clearly informed when a seller is not authorized by the manufacturer, especially for a product that represents a significant investment. Very disappointing experience. I am glad I was able to contact Amazon and report them.

Excellent quality results from this little printer!
I read reviews for a lot of sublimation printers, and this always came out top within my price range. The results are fabulous. I’ve used it to produce images on t-shirts, bags, beer koozies, aluminum, glass and mugs, and so far I haven’t been disappointed at all! I’m using a Mac with Cricut, and it takes a while to get used to the Epson Mac setup, so here’s my tip. You need to print mirrored, especially if you have text, so that when you heat press your work it ends up the correct way around. The Mac driver automatically mirrors everything by default, but you still need the mirror on if you use Cricut, so that the cutting device knows exactly where to cut. So leave the mirror on with Cricut Maker and choose “print with system dialogue” and under the printer info section of the pop up when you go to print, turn off the mirroring. Also, the printer dialogue window never seems to come to the front of the other windows, so don’t sit and wait for hours wondering why it’s not printing. Move your Cricut Maker window and find the print window. I’m super happy with the results I’m getting. I’m using original Epson ink so I don’t void any warranty, and I’m using regular sublimation paper. Enjoy your crafting!!
