The Tillandsia andreana is an elegant air plant from the Bromeliaceae family. This rare variety is native to Columbia and Venezuela. It is a unique red flowering plant with spiky needle-like leaves shooting out on all sides. With a symmetrical round ball-like rosette, this plant is pet-friendly and finds use in fun projects. The drought-tolerant Tillandsia andreana care requirement is minimal. It has a characteristic red tubular flower emerging from its center. With direct shaded light, this slow-growing plant grows up to a height of 2.5 inches.

Growth Rate

The Andreana tillandsia is a slow-growing houseplant.

Flowering

This plant flowers all the year through. The green leaves start to get the typical red blush just before blooming. A bright red tubular Tillandsia andreana flower emerges from the center of the monocarpic plant.

Watering and Feeding

Dunking or misting the plant is suggested to meet its watering needs. If the plant is placed outdoors, a hose can be used to mist it. For dunking, the plant should be submerged in a bowl of water for half an hour and then tapped dry, or else it will rot. If outdoors, water every third day. If indoors, water once every week. Feeding is recommended once in 15 days during summer months and once during winters.

Soil

Tillandsia andreana does not require soil for growth. It can attach to cliffs and rocks. When planted indoors, these look great in terrariums.

Hardiness

The hardiness zone of Tillandsia andreana is 9 to 11. It needs protection from frost as it cannot tolerate temperatures less than 30° F (-1.1° C).

Light

Bright indirect sunlight is ideal for the plant’s good health.

Propagation

Tillandsia andreana pups are the best for propagation.

Bring home this rare air plant Tillandsia andreana. Plant it in terrariums and place it on desks or tables. Ensure proper ventilation for a happy plant!

So far, so good!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls, Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
Boomer an 8 yr old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 105#. When Boomer isn’t duck hunting, he is all about THE BALL. He chews them apart like I own stock. DAY 1 : I’m impressed with the Mankoda . It’s still in one piece. Barely any show of wear. Boomer is carrying it around like a prize, definitely having “a ball”. Needless to say he is loving it. The bright colors are easy to see in the yard. We haven’t played outside so I can’t comment on the bounce. I got the three pack and I feel it’s a reasonable price. I ordered the large ball because Boomer is a big boy. The ball its self is foamy soft to the touch but very firm . Has no smell at least that I can detect . It has little indents on the surface, I agree (with the info) that it will help rub against my boys teeth (brushing time reduced!). You can see them in the picture (the indents not the teeth). The divots you see are from Boomer. But no real damage. I’ll keep updating for a while.

Quality ball - Heeler approved
Pattern Name: 4 Medium balls
My heeler loves this ball He is a huge baller and this balls holds up. Bounces great. Takes a chewing. It’s also lightweight, which is good, because sometimes my aim is bad. The 2.5” is big enough to not roll under the couch. Awesome. The best part is, he has a stash of replacements ready for when he loses it.

Best dog ball ever!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
We have a border collie and an Australian cattle dog. Both are obsessed with balls and love to play catch. They would destroy all tennis ball including ones for dogs within minutes. These have lasted over a year! They have some teeth marks but still work great! I have just bought a second set as they still tend to get lost from time to time.

These are worth the money!! BUY THEM!!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
These balls are amazing if you have a dog that likes to chew! We have 2 medium sized breeds that are heavy heavy chewers and they get so excited when we dig these out from under the couch or tv stand. Most "chew toys" have to find their way to the garbage within a few days. We've had these a little over 2 weeks now and they are holding up great. There are little teeth marks in them but no chunks ripped out and seem to be holding up great. They are a little squishy so I was worried they would get destroyed but nope. They are a little bigger than a tennis ball so I don't have to worry about them choking on them. JUST BUY THEM!!

Nice Ball
Pattern Name: 1 Large ball
Nice light, yet durable ball for my gs/pit mix. He's a year and a half and he plays hard. I really like this ball and I'd buy it again.
