Another improved safety feature is the anti-rotation stability leg that limits back and forth movement for maximum head and neck protection. The stay-in-car base features our MaxiLock™ secure locking system with self-retracting one-click UAS (Universal Anchor System) connectors for quick, easy and secure installation and AutoLock™ belt lock-off for a better fit in your vehicle. For added convenience, the adjustable base includes tightness indicators to provide visual confirmation of accurate installation.

The process was very smooth and fairly quick. The only challenge I had was that the CLAIM status showed complete but I had to manually go look up the status. There was no email or notification it was closed. After manually checking the status, I called customer support and they said since I called in, they would process the payout. I wonder if I didnt call in if they would have processed it? Also, the phone rep said they would issue me a amazon egift card but then the next day I received a email saying they mailed out the payout. Very poor communication but so far the process was easy and fast.

I purchased the ASURION 3-Year Portable Electronic Accident Protection Plan ($500–$599.99) for an Android 13 8.8” touchscreen stereo installed in my BMW (CCC system). I did not have to ship the unit back. That level of service exceeded my expectations. The claim was handled quickly, communication was clear, and the resolution was fair and hassle-free. I purchase an Asurion protection plan with every high-dollar item I buy on Amazon. I’ve had to file a three claims over the years, and each time the experience has reinforced that this coverage is well worth the cost. When something fails outside the manufacturer’s warranty, it’s a relief knowing Asurion stands behind the product. Highly recommended for expensive electronics.
