MIni Jade 2 isn’t a single specific species name — it generally refers to Crassula plants that have yellow-toned leaves (either naturally or due to sun exposure). These succulents belong to the Crassulaceae family, the same group as Jade plants (Crassula ovata).

🌞 Common Types of Yellow Crassula Succulents

  1. Crassula ovata ‘Hummel’s Sunset’ (Golden Jade Plant)
    • Probably the most popular “yellow” Crassula.
    • Features green leaves with yellow and red margins, especially when exposed to bright light.
    • Grows into a small shrub-like plant.
    • In winter, it often turns more golden and red.
  2. Crassula perforata ‘Variegata’ (String of Buttons Variegated)
    • Has stacked, triangular leaves with creamy-yellow or light-green variegation.
    • The edges can blush pink under the sun.
    • Forms pretty trailing or upright stems.
  3. Crassula pellucida subsp. marginalis ‘Calico Kitten’ (Variegated Crassula)
    • Small heart-shaped leaves with yellow, pink, and green tones.
    • Excellent for hanging pots or ground cover.
    • Color intensifies with sunlight.
  4. Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’
    • Leaves start lime-green and turn bright yellow-orange to red in full sun.
    • A favorite for its dramatic color transitions.

🌿 Why Some Crassulas Turn Yellow

  • Sunlight exposure: Many Crassulas develop yellow or golden tones when they get plenty of direct light — this is healthy “stress coloring.”
  • Temperature stress: Cooler temperatures can enhance yellow and red pigments.
  • Nutrient or water issues: If leaves turn dull yellow and soft, it could mean overwatering or nutrient deficiency, not coloration.

🌱 Care Tips for Crassula Yellow Succulents

  • Light: Bright, indirect to full sunlight (4–6 hours daily).
  • Soil: Well-draining succulent/cactus mix.
  • Water: Only when soil is completely dry — overwatering causes root rot.
  • Temperature: Prefers 18–25°C (65–77°F); protect from frost.
  • Fertilizer: Monthly feeding during spring–summer with diluted succulent fertilizer.

Sturdy disposable plates that handle real meals without getting soggy
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count, Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
These 9-inch compostable plates are a great option when you want the convenience of disposable plates without the flimsy feel of standard paper ones. The bagasse material gives them a much sturdier structure, so they hold up well even with heavier foods. What I noticed right away is that they do not bend or soak through easily. Foods with sauces, oils, or moisture sit on the plate without making it soft or soggy. Plates made from sugarcane fiber are designed to resist grease and liquids better than typical paper plates while still being biodegradable. The 9-inch size works well for full meals, not just snacks. I have used them for things like pasta, barbecue, and salads, and they held up without needing to double stack plates. They also have a nice natural brown look that works well for casual gatherings, cookouts, or parties. Another plus is the eco-friendly aspect. Bagasse plates are made from leftover sugarcane fibers, which makes them a renewable alternative to plastic or foam disposable plates. It is nice to have something convenient that is also a little better for the environment. Overall these are sturdy, practical disposable plates that actually feel durable enough for real meals. Great for parties, family gatherings, picnics, or anytime you want easy cleanup without using flimsy plates.
