How it Works
The weBoost Drive X RV Signal Booster Kit works by mounting the included spring mount 4G RV antenna as high up on the vehicle as possible, usually on the ladder on the back of the RV, to receive the outside cell signal and pass it over a cable to a signal amplifier located inside of the RV. The amplifier boosts the cell signal, and then sends it over another cable to the included desktop inside antenna, which broadcasts the boosted signal to the area of the RV that needs better signal.
The entire process also works in reverse, so you get a strong and reliable connection back to the distant, land-based cell towers.
Estimated Inside Coverage
The strength of your existing outside signal, measured in the location where you plan to mount the outside antenna, has a direct impact on the amount of inside coverage you'll get from a signal booster. The table below shows how much coverage you may get depending on your outside signal strength:
