When your adventures take you into unpredictable conditions, the Stormgrotta 1.5 is your steadfast sanctuary. As our first fly-first pitching, 4-season tent, it is engineered for the solo adventurer who values stability, space, and absolute confidence in their shelter. Weighing a competitive 1.6kg, it strikes the perfect balance between robust protection and a manageable pack weight, making it ideal for extended mountain expeditions, wild camping, and trips where the weather is part of the challenge.

New for this season, we’ve introduced several performance-focused upgrades to make the Stormgrotta even more capable. We’ve improved the flysheet-to-pole clip system for a faster, more intuitive pitch and added three pegging points on the larger flysheet panels for better tension in wind. Stability is further boosted by new triangular tie-out guy ropes, while the interior now offers increased storage pockets and a dedicated hanging line for drying gear out of the rain.

The Stormgrotta lives up to its name with an external 3-pole design, allowing the flysheet (and detachable inner tent) to be pitched first, keeping the inner sanctum perfectly dry even during a downpour. Its generous living space is a welcome luxury for one, providing ample room to organise gear inside or share with a faithful canine companion.

The Stormgrotta can be pitched in minutes, using a simple 3-pole method - allowing you to set up camp quickly if the weather turns. The detachable porch gear bucket keeps your kit protected from the elements - or can be removed for more porch space if required.

Key Features:

  • All-in-One, Fly-First Pitch: Essential for wetter conditions, the external 3-pole system allows you to pitch the flysheet first or all in one, ensuring the asymmetrical inner living space always stays dry, no matter the conditions.
  • Fortress-Like Stability: An exoskeletal 3-pole structure creates a robust, freestanding design. Combined with six strategically placed triangular tie-out guylines and more flysheet peg points, the Stormgrotta is our most stable solo tent, built to withstand stronger winds.
  • Generous 1.5-Person Living Space: We designed the Stormgrotta for comfort on tough trips. The inner provides ample room for one person plus gear, now featuring increased internal storage pockets and a new hanging line for drying clothes.
  • Innovative Gear Bucket Porch: The porch features a unique, removable high-sided 'gear bucket' – a protected, waterproof space to keep your pack, boots, and wet gear off the ground and out of the elements.
  • Durable & Resilient Fabrics: The tent is constructed entirely from seam-sealed 15D silnylon, providing an excellent balance between low weight and the durability required to handle rugged terrain and stormy conditions.
  • Hassle-Free Pack-Away: The included oversized top-loading packing bag eliminates the daily struggle of stuffing your tent away into a small tube, making for quicker and easier camp breakdowns.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
