Calamondin Bush – Easy to Grow Indoor Citrus

Looking for a beautiful, fruiting citrus plant that’s both ornamental and productive? The Calamondin Bush is one of the most versatile and rewarding citrus plants you can grow at home.

Before buying citrus online, it’s important to understand that not all citrus plants are created equal. Many low-cost options are seed-grown, which can take years to mature and often produce inconsistent results.

Our Calamondin Bushes are expertly grafted, making them superior because:

Earlier fruiting, faster results:
Seed-grown citrus can take many years to produce fruit. Our Calamondin Bushes are grafted onto strong, mature rootstock, encouraging earlier flowering and fruiting so you can enjoy citrus much sooner.

Consistent, true-to-type fruit:
Plants grown from seed may produce unpredictable fruit quality. Our grafted Calamondin Bushes are propagated from proven mother plants, ensuring reliable flavor, size, and performance.

Stronger, more resilient plants:
The premium rootstock used for grafting is selected for vigor and durability, resulting in a tougher plant better equipped to handle environmental stress.

Heavily branched for better production:
More branching means more potential flowering points. Our bushes are grown and trained for structure, fullness, and enhanced fruiting potential.

A Stunning Ornamental Citrus

The Calamondin Bush is prized for its glossy evergreen foliage, fragrant white blossoms, and vibrant orange fruit. It delivers year-round beauty while also producing small, tangy citrus perfect for culinary use.

Unlike large citrus trees, this naturally compact variety fits beautifully into:

• Patios
• Balconies
• Entryways
• Kitchens
• Bright indoor spaces

Its elegant form makes it both a decorative accent and a conversation piece.

Delicious, Tangy Fruit

Calamondin fruit is known for its bold citrus aroma and bright, tart flavor. The thin-skinned fruit can be used for:

• Drinks & cocktails
• Cooking & marinades
• Marmalades
• Garnishes

Even when not harvested, the colorful fruit adds incredible visual appeal.

Fragrant Blossoms

When in bloom, your Calamondin Bush produces intensely fragrant white flowers that fill the surrounding space with a fresh citrus scent — one of the most loved features of this variety.

Ideal for Indoor & Container Growing

The Calamondin Bush thrives in containers, making it perfect for growers in cooler climates.

Perfect for pots:
Easily move indoors during winter and outdoors in warm seasons.

Self-pollinating:
Only one plant is needed to produce fruit.

Excellent indoor performance:
Flourishes near bright windows or under grow lights.

A Popular Gift Choice

Incredible Life experience while hiking the PCT
Format: Paperback
As I began experiencing great stories about the "Camino" pilgrimage in Spain, books about "thru hikes" in the US seemed to find me too i.e. The Pacific Crest Trail, and did grab my attention for various reasons... "Journeys North"-- To me, this story makes it more than apparent, that if you want to learn about yourself and open your "vault doors" so to speak, and free yourself of personal challenges-hiking the PCT could help. This book on it's own, is a wonderful treatise about the PCT, and taught me much about being open and honest with others to include oneself, and about being grateful." This story "rings" of Freedom, is intense, and at times, raw. From the comfort of my living room... Frodo, Scout, Blazer, and company drug this old backpacker (me) a.k.a. "LightningLayne" along on a fantastic journey north clear from Mexico's northern border to Canada's southern one. Along the way, I noticed how the "goodness" in people replaces just about every negative the world throws in your face. Finally, I laughed, I cried, and even felt sorry at times for all the "participants." In the end, I was "grateful" for the individual and collective stories shared. This story is one that has burrowed in deep and is one I will never forget.

A community 3 feet wide and 2650 miles long
Format: Paperback
One of the aspects of long-distance backpacking on our National Scenic Trails that those who haven't done so are generally unaware of is the tight-knit sense of community that binds hikers together, even hikers who've never met. These folks are average people with a vast range of life experiences and circumstances, and not simply a generic array of "professional hikers" involved in some sort of athletic competition. In the "real world," you can know someone for years without *really* knowing them at all, but on the trail, a single day can feel like weeks, and months can feel like years. You can bump into someone in the morning, and have a new "old friend," soulmate, or savior by the end of the day. In "Journeys North," Scout brings this community to life on the page vividly and emotionally, drawing us into not just his own life and experience, but of many others in his trail family- all making that journey north in a literal way collectively, as well as in their own personal ways figuratively. Along the way, he relates the highs and the lows of not just life on the trail, but of life in the "real world" as well. It's a crash course in empathy, determination, and sometimes just plain stubbornness. When I received the book and flipped through it quickly, I was at first surprised at the lack of photos- just a single page at the end with a handful of shots of the "main characters." But as I read the book, I quickly realized that Scout's richly descriptive prose paints a far better picture than any actual pictures could, and was grateful for the space he made for my imagination to play a part in his story. While no book could ever substitute for the actual experience of hiking a long trail, "Journeys North" serves as great inspiration for those who aspire to, as well as reassurance for their friends and family that they won't simply be disappearing into the wilderness alone.

If you are thinking of the Camino, This book is for you!
Format: Kindle
I just had a friend who walked 32 days on the Camino, and I chose this book to learn more about what it would be like. This was an excellent choice. The author outlines what pilgrims can expect and how to prepare for the experience. I had not realized there are six paths: The French, Northern, English, Portuguese, Orrigonal, and Silver Ways. It turned out that my friend was on the Portuguese way. The different paths range from three hundred to a thousand kilometers. The author goes through each of the "ways" and does a daily highlight of the number of kilometers one walks and the sights to expect. This book whetted my appetite to consider a walk like this; it would be a great resource for any pilgrim.
