The Adventures of Kerri & Matt

Once we got to the top of Cerro Negro

We had to get down

Before we blew away

Into the steamy crater

Which wouldn’t have been pleasant

The views from the top were good

You could even see Leon in the distance

Matt tobogganed down

Then Kerri tobogganed down

Slowly

Matt went slowly too

But Kerri messed up getting a copy of the pictures

So we’ll just pretend Matt whooshed so fast that they only got one picture of him.

And they only got video of Kerri

This is Cerro Negro

It doesn’t look that impressive from most angles

But it’s an active volcano.

All covered in loose ash

And when you climb up it you can see all the other craters

The areas that aren’t volcanos are pretty flat.

The lava doesn’t flow very far.

The crater is colourful

It was very windy

And very ashy.

Matt’s phone decided he was the only important thing in this picture.

Kerri isn’t as important.
