This 9th century brick temple is one of the old in the Siem Reap area.
The buildings were kind of oddly spaced. They didn’t line up and were too close together.
It has some of the best preserved lions though.
Complete with nostrils.
They had big scary teeth.
And they didn’t look very happy.
The other one was missing his bottom jaw, so he’s not very scary.
There was also a bull out front.
And a guard guy in a top hat.
There were strange creatures on the columns.
These elephant lions live underwater.
This is an eagle man. A god usually rides on his back.
It was very impressive.
