We went to the Arc De Triumph.
It has some sculptures of some stuff that looks interesting.
Don’t ask us what, Kerri didn’t download an audio guide because she had already seen it. And she got nothing out of it the first time either.
It definitely involves a crazy bull though.
We climbed up a very long spiral staircase to see what was at the top.
The answer, of course, was a gift shop.
There was also a small screen lying on the floor.
Displaying live footage from a camera hidden in this flower. It’s a virtual reality glass floor! I wonder if the gift shop sells one so that we can have the harrowing experience of standing on a glass floor in the Arc De Triumph in our own living room!
Above the gift shop we got a great view of the City of Lights.
In one direction there were even flashing red and blue lights.
The streets all point straight out from the arc, which is kind of a cool effect.
There was also a nice view of the Eiffel Tower.
When we got down they were doing a ceremony for fallen soldiers. ![]()
This is the eternal flame in honour of the soldiers.
